About NekoNet
NekoNet is an IRC network which has spawned from UnderNet. Due to the many problems which the UnderNet is currently facing (netsplits and seemingly idle opers being the biggest annoyance) a group of people who were already experimenting with IRC servers decided that enough is enough after the UnderNet dismissed a large group of rather active opers for reasons which can only be speculated. They decided to band together and form a network in which the user comes first. Our interest is the users experience. We really like spending time on the network to try to make things better, and we hope that our efforts will be enjoyed by our users.
Connecting to NekoNet
If you connect your client to irc.neko-net.org you will connect to one of our servers randomly. To make it easier on the users from Europe or the United States we've also setup an alias for our European and American servers:
