IRC services on NekoNet

We have a variety of services on our network which can basicly be divided into 4 categories. Common services are services which you are likely to find on most networks. These include entries like NickServ, ChanServm etc. Log services are entries used to provide a little insight on channel and network usage, fun services are used to provide you with some funny options like sending someone some candy and finally the System services are not really interesting for end users but mentioned here nonetheless.

Common Services

NickServ - This service can be used to register your nickname. Registering your nickname basicly means that you're making your nickname known on our network and by doing so gives you access to the rest of the services.
ChanServ - If you have a channel you like you can register it to make it yours, to do with as you please. This basicly means that you keep control over it, even after you logged out.
BotServ - Some people don't like it that their channel is being managed by ChanServ from outside the channel. If you prefer to have a bot present you can assign one here.
LimitServ - If you wish to protect your channel from joinfloods you can either use the channelmode +f or apply for LimitServ.
HostServ - NekoNet uses cloaked hostnames so that no one can see your real hostname and tries anything funny. If you like to have your own hostname you can request one here.
MemoServ - If you want to tell something to someone who isn't currently online and he/she has a registered nickname you can leave them a memo. If you want you can even send a memo to a whole channel.

Log Services

SeenServ - This service can help you find people on the entire network. Its home channel is #cservice.
StatServ - This service can provide you with some statistical data on several channels and even the whole network. It broadcasts any record events in wallops.
LogServ - Some channels like to have some statistics online. In those cases LogServ can monitor a channel to provide some logs.

Fun Services

barmaid - Can serve your channel inhabitants by pouring them a drink.
LoveServ - When you wish to send a message to a special somebody you might want to give this server a try. You can even remain anonymous if need be.
MoraleServ - If you wish to boost someone's morale with a funny message you can do so here.
ProfileServ - Bored of being asked asl every now and then? Store a profile in ProfileServ and point people this way.

System services

Global - Sometimes an oper needs to sends out a message to everyone. In those cases Global will be the nick which delivers the message to you.
OperServ - The infamous oper playground.
HelpServ - Whenever you ask a service for help this is the server which answers, sometimes simply relaying through the others.
NekoBOPM - Our NekoNet Blitzed Open Proxy Monitor; It scans your computer when you connect to our network to make sure you have no open / unsecure proxies.
